Greetings,

Let me tell you a story about my background. When I was a child, I like to play wargame with my plastic toy soldiers. My mom bought a set for me. I forgot what age. When 8 years old all of my friend had GI joes, Transformers and other "precious" things. My mom refuse to buy me one, because she once caught me for exploding my toy with firecrackers.. :). That's why I smile when I watch toy story 1. hehehe.

That's the time I started to build papermodels. First is The Transfrormers, I choose the robot that can transform into a car and can fly. I forgot the name of that robot. I made it with a disposed cigarette box which I took from my mom's grocery store. Start from that time I continued to build more models like : motorbike, houses, tall buildings, Sail boat, landscape scenery for my plastic train set. I added some pine trees detached from our broken plastic christmas tree. And this is the weird part.. all of them burned to ashes. I always enjoy watching my model burn in fire, as a part of my game.

At junior high I bought a new magazine. It is an aviation magazine, Majalah Angkasa (Aerospace Magazine). There was a column about aircraft origami (In the early edition papermodel is misnamed with origami) , the model was WWI aircraft : Sofwith Camel. I built 3 model, and i was so happy that time and impressed about how a piece of paper can be assembly and become a 3d model. And I started thinking to design it myself. I won first place in Majalah Angkasa Aircraft Paper Model Competition I in 1997. More than 5 models I've sent to Majalah Angkasa to be publised until I go to University. They are F-18A Hornet,Frogfoot, UH-1 Defender/ little Bird?, AH-64 Apache, Mil-26 Hind, etc. I forgot the others. In 2006 I've released My own Paper Model Collection Book in collaboration with Majalah Angkasa. There's 6 tanks inside the book.

The reason why I build this online store is to accomodate my childhood hobby and to share the fun with paper modelers . And for my lovely daugther. I've to earn some money to save, for her education, since she is 1,5 years now. My wife always supporting me.

Sincerely,
